Thought Foundation

And we are off...

8th January 2017 | Leanne

At the core of Thought Foundation is a spirit to make the world a better place. One of our thoughtful founders, Gareth has passion for all things positively environmental. Take a look at our roof...

It seems a no brainer then to have "Thoughtful Planet", a creative response to environmental issues, for our first exhibition.

We are calling out to all creatives far and wide who are working in the realms of global warming, recycling, environmental issues, consumerist culture, etc to submit their artwork.

If you are a painter, illustrator, photographer, poet or a creative working in any artform who feels their work would fit perfectly with our immersive, multi-disciplinary exhibition then please view our submissions page.

If you are eagerly waiting the opening date of Thought Foundation then watch this space.

A little help from our friends

27th October 2016 | Leanne

As some of you will know we have had to take the decision to open next year, instead of in 2016. Budget is the over riding factor in this decision and although we dedicated so many man-hours it just wasn't enough. We have had to review our situation at Thought Foundation and have had to put a crowd funding big together.

For those of you who don't know, crowdfunding is asking our supporters and friends to pledge their hard earned cash to our warm hearted organisation. This fund will then enable us to finish the works in our community interest company, so we can welcome you through our doors to enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Our aim is to create an imaginative, innovative space to enrich the lives and practice of the creative community, local residents and all the folk of the north east.

Please click the link below to view our obviously handmade and embarrasingly cheesy crowd funder video. Your generous help WILL make a difference.
